There's plenty to do in the Park Rapids area. Itasca State Park and the Headwaters of the Mississippi River are just north of Pine Hollow. Five golf courses are within the immediate vicinity, with Eagle View just 1/2 mile south. World of Christmas, a gift shop and amusement park, lies just 1/2 mile north of Pine Hollow, and Northern Traditions is also nearby. There are also many other shops, to include SummerHill Farm and dining establishments close by.
Tired of the city stress? Paddle a canoe down Hay Creek, which runs through the resort, or try your luck at hooking your limit of walleye, northern, and panfish that populate Island Lake and the other two lakes of the chain (Eagle & Potato). If you feel energetic, shoot a few hoops, try the paddleboats, or our new kayaks. The whole family will enjoy a campfire outside at the day's end with firewood that is provided.
